Saludos! I am a native speaker of English, and have been teaching and using my knowledge of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures for several decades. After a number of years in the International business realm, I turned to my true goal of teaching Spanish: I have tutored and taught both young students and adults, and have been teaching grades K-8 in the New Jersey Public School system, for eleven years. I have found that communicative approaches to teaching and learning a language are most successful, and that a maintenance of the language-culture connection is most important. I also understand that tutoring and instruction requires the ability to 'flex' to the needs of the learner, the student.
