I have been teaching and tutoring Business Math, Financial Math and Real Estate Math for over 20 years. Additionally, I am tutoring students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Standardized Math Test Preparation, such as, GED, SAT, ACT, ASVAB, TACHS, etc.

My background is as an accountant/auditor for over 30 years in public and private industry. I have also been a teacher/tutor for over 20 years at all levels, including college, business schools and private clients. I have been a teacher/tutor in the following subjects: Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, Taxation (Individual + Business).

My approach to all topics in relatively the same. First, I start with a general overview of what I will explain. Next, I explain the topic in detail, with numerous examples to illustrate the point. I ask the student questions to determine if he/she comprehends the material. If, the student does not understand, then I give more explanations and examples. I welcome questions and am always available for guidance. Finally, I give homework problems so that students can demonstrate their comprehension.

I am patient and understanding and will explain/illustrate concepts until the student comprehends the topic. I provide positive feedback
and encouragement to all my students.
