I am a High School French teacher, teaching all levels from I through AP. I
have been an educator for 11 years and have both lived and worked in Paris during
my non-teaching career. ( I worked as a fashion designer for 20 years prior to
returning to the classroom.) I stress the four areas of speaking, listening,
reading and writing in all my lessons and have always made sure that my students
not only become conversational, but that they also read with ease and accuracy.
As a tutor for students, I know exactly how to help you achieve that elusive A
or B on a test. I can explain everything thoroughly (in English!) so you'll know
what you're doing and why you're doing it! I am also filled with many strategies
and pneumonic devices to help you learn more quickly and easily.
I am named in the 2005-2006 edition of "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" and I
enjoy making the learning of a foreign language a useful, enjoyable, and highly
rewarding experience.
