Hi there,

I'm Justin.

It is undeniable that computers are the future in all aspects of life. For those who are not so computer savvy, that may be a scary thought. Fortunately, I can help bring you up to speed so that you can gain an edge over others. I have been working with computers my whole life, and am currently majoring in Information Technology at Rutgers University. I've held jobs working with computers for large retail companies such as Best Buy and Staples, as well as small companies. I also do computer repairs on the side. Being a student myself, I understand the frustration felt when you cannot pick up a subject. That's why I enjoy tutoring others, because my experience has shown that personal tutoring is more effective than even the best classroom teachers. I am not a fan of exams, and I do not believe they are a good method of testing one's ability in a subject. Rather, I prefer hands on activities in which I can work closely with students. The less pressure on the student, the more likely they are to pick up a subject.

Computer Science

I majored in computer science at Brookdale Community College and am taking computer science classes at Rutgers University. I have experience in all computer software and hardware.

Macintosh

I've been working with Apple products since the original iPhone. I have a MacBook Pro of my own, have taught others in using their iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and iTunes. I have a solid understanding of integrating these products together as well as their differences from other branded products.

Microsoft Outlook

I have been working with Microsoft Office since Office 2003 was released. I use Outlook on a daily basis to manage my multiple e-mail accounts. I have set up Outlook accounts for others as well as showing them the ins and outs of Outlook.

Microsoft Windows

I have been working with Windows since Windows 2000. Throughout my years in school, I was always surrounded by Windows based systems. I am very knowledgable with Windows XP, Vista, WIndows 7, and Windows 8. I was a beta tester for Windows 8.
