I am currently working as Adjunct Professor on a high-level Biology course at NYIT (New York Institute of Technology). I taught Human Biology, Histology, Anatomy and Pathophysiology to Medical Students from 1998 to 2006. I am also specialized at goal setting, motivational coaching, and life coaching.
I have worked as an MD at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center (MSKCC) as a Senior Research Scientist for the past 6 years. MSKCC offers a variety of educational and training programs for aspiring medical professionals, researchers, and technicians. As a researcher, I also enjoy contributing to the vital part of MSKCC’s mission by inspiring the future scientists, the high school students every summer.
I can help you to have a better understanding of the fundamentals of biology by giving a background info and guidance to explore cell structure and function, energy and metabolism, or reproduction and genetics in depth. My way of teaching is to start by evaluating your learning style, and decide how to proceed to achieve your learning goals by also having fun!
Using my life coaching experience, I can also help you to develop hobbies which helps buffer the effects of stress and increase the efficiency of learning. Some of my hobbies are drawing, juggling, chess, and unicycle which I believe have actually contributed to my professional career a lot!
Looking forward meeting you.
