My experience is in Fine Arts: Studio Art, drawing, painting, sculpture, and 2/3 dimensional design. Currently, I am instructing part time art classes in drawing, painting, and watercolor to middle and high school students. Also, I have 15+ years of community public service and volunteering instructing art to students K-12th grade. In addition, I possess a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art degree from Kean University.

Art History

My qualifications for tutoring art history include: knowledge of Renaissance to modern world, contemporary and modern era's in art. I am very knowledgeable of the content and process of art, especially as it relates to different movements of art such as Baroque, Impressionism, Renaissance, Modern/Abstract Expressionism, and Post Contemporary. I posses a bachelor's of fine arts in studio art degree and have 15+ years of instructing art classes to K-12/adult students.

Art Theory

My qualifications for instructing art theory include college endorsements for meaning/making in visual art, direction in studio art, visual thinking, color theory, and museum training practice. Also, my ability to describe the boundaries between art making (process) and art content (knowledge of art) is due to rigorous training in fine arts/studio art. My education is in fine arts with a bachelor's of fine art in studio art degree.


My qualifications for tutoring chess include 10 years of co-teaching chess. Currently, I am knowledgeable of the opening, middle, and end games. I can tutor students in identifying each chess piece, setting up a chess board, applying different strategies for starting a game for good defense or offense. Students will learn how each chess piece moves, capturing, check, check mate, and stalemate. Students will be encouraged to think and plan their moves.


My qualifications include college training in drawing with graphite pencil, colored pencils, charcoal, chalk pastel, oil pastel, crayons, markers and pen/ink. Upon completion of college I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art Degree. Shortly after I became certified to teach art K-12th Grade Art Content,currently instruct part-time in my local community and with the YMCA.


My abilities include tutoring for English with emphasis on proper word usage, vocabulary, reading, writing and developing conversational skills.


My experience includes college training in Fine Art. In addition, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art Degree with a Certification to teach Art K-12th grade in New Jersey. Currently, instructing art PT K-5th grade students with the Community YMCA in Monmouth County, NJ, instructing Drawing/Painting/Design in the Community Centers of Edison, NJ, and experience Art Substitute teacher K-12th grade for the Public Schools of Edison, NJ.


My qualifications for Photography include knowledge of 35mm film cameras, developing film, and making black and white prints. Furthermore, I'm experienced in using Digital SLR cameras especially the Sony @ 200. My education is in Fine Art with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Studio Art.


Qualifications that I posses for tutoring for reading include: college endorsements in English composition, English literature, speech communications, and group communications. Students that I tutor will learn how to read fluently, understand punctuation, develop confidence in reading aloud and in groups. In addition, students will grasp different types of reading such as fiction, mystery, crime, suspense, literature, current events, biography, and true stories.


My qualifications for vocabulary include: vast knowledge of synonyms/antonyms, word usage, and dictionary/thesaurus definitions. I posses a bachelor's of fine art in studio art degree with endorsements in landmarks of world literature, speech/group communications, English composition, inquiry and research, and museum training practice. Skills that I tutor for are word context, proper grammar, sentence structure, and understanding meanings of complex words. Students will learn how to spell, define, write, and speak with advanced vocabulary terms.
