I am an attorney practicing law in New Jersey. I previously taught business law and related courses for Wagner College. My undergraduate background consists of a Bachelor's Degree from St. John's University, where I earned my degree in both Political Science and American Studies. The American Studies curriculum consisted of American history, literature and government. My Juris Doctorate was obtained from Seton Hall University School of Law. As a practicing lawyer, I've developed the practical skills necessary to persuasively write and speak publicly. I enjoy helping students find, what some consider to be boring material, exciting.

Bar Exam

I am an attorney licensed in New Jersey and New York who has been practicing for 20 years. I believe that having successfully sat myself for the bar exam, I am an ideal candidate to assist others in preparation for same. Additionally, I taught law at Wagner College and truly enjoyed helping students understand the material. In terms of familiarity with the type of legal material tested, I worked for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education editing legal publications used to help young lawyers better understand the practical application of the law.

Public Speaking

I speak in public several times per week as an attorney. Persuasive speech is necessary in order to be successful at my job. At a minimum, I am in court 2 to 4 times per week. During my appearances, I argue against another attorney before a judge, before spectators in the courtroom and on some occasions, I have argued before a jury. This has created a comfort level when addressing a large group of people in public and has permitted me too fine tune my skills in effective public speaking. Moreover, I taught classes at Wagner College putting me in a position to address large crowds in a meaningful way.

Social Studies

I had a double major in college, political science and American studies, which consisted of history, literature, philosophy and government. My college studies caused me to do extensive research in historical topics, an interest I maintained after college by continuing to read nonfiction history on a regular basis. I also studied sociology and anthropology and have a Juris Doctorate degree in law, which I believe gives me a true understanding of the political doctrines and concepts that control society.
