I am a certified Orton Gillingham teacher, thus; you will receive a highly diagnostic lesson tailored to your individual needs. In order to see success most individuals need two or more days a week and must complete reinforcing activities at home. First session is diagnostic testing. Elementary (K-6th)

I am a certified elementary and special education teacher. I have taught for more than seven years. My focus in the elementary school grades is to use a multisensory approach to differentiate my lessons to allow all students equal access to the curriculum. In regards to reading I utilize an Orton Gillingham approach, which is diagnostic and individualized.

Orton Gillingham is an instructional approach intended primarily for use with persons who have difficulty with reading, spelling, and writing. It is a structured diagnostic approach to teaching phonics.

I am a certified Special Education teacher with over seven years of experience. I have worked as a self-contained teacher and resource teacher coordinator. My duties and responsibilities were to create, plan, and execute a thematic lesson that was differentiated so that all students had equal access to the material being taught regardless of learning style.

Aspergers

I am a certified Special Education teacher with advanced training in Applied Behavior Analyst. I frequently attend workshops on best practices in ABA. For the last seven years I have worked either as a classroom teacher or an ABA therapist providing in home services to students with autism or with Aspergers.

Autism

I am a certified Special Education teacher who successfully finished my Applied Behavior Analyst program at Rutgers University. I have taught in a self-contained classroom for children with autism and PDD-NOS. Currently, I work with children in their homes to generalize skills taught in school and to teach life skills.

Dyslexia

I am a certified Orton Gillingham teacher. Orton Gillingham is a multi-sensory structured language based methodology for teaching reading, spelling and writing. The Orton Gillingham approach has proven especially successful for students with dyslexia.
