My teaching motto: Learning is fun. You can achieve anything you set your mind to.
I am a Korean bi-lingual immigrant. I studied at Rutgers Graduate School of Education for masters in language education with certification in ESL and teaching Korean as a second language. I am currently teaching Korean and ESL. I have about five years of classroom experience. While living in Korea, I taught to students of all ages, ranging from pre-K to college graduates and businesspeople. I am outgoing, energetic, and I simply love to teach. A child of Korean and British parents, I was born and raised in Korea, lived for five years in England, and completed my education in Korea. I immigrated to the United States to be with my husband, who is American. I am fluent in both English and Korean and hold a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies. I believe that my multicultural and multilingual background is a great asset for teaching ESL to immigrants here in the U.S and Korean. As an experienced teacher with a multicultural background, I believe I am the ideal teacher for your need. I look forward to meeting with you in person to further discuss about your interest. Thank you very much.
