My name is Ben, and I've been working with kids for over fifteen years. Some of my experience includes working as a classroom teacher, a summer camp counselor, and most of all, an after school counselor. With this experience, I've learned more about the psychology of teaching as well as learning from my mistakes.
As a tutor, I feel I can help the student not only learn about the subject matter, but have the potential to learn at the next level of education they face. I feel that my outgoing personality will help me communicate with the student as well as making learning a fun process as well. Part of my teaching philosophy includes teaching a concept to a student that relates to a common interest of theirs, which will make learning fun, while staying on topic. Overall, my goal is to implement a lesson plan that will keep the student interested as well as educated at the same time. My intention is to make their experience one that they will remember for years to come.
