Dear Prospective Student,
I enjoy helping students reach their goals and I am a very patient and encouraging tutor. I attended public school through middle school curriculum and an independent private school for High School. I know what it is like to have a challenging and rigorous schedule and I am effective at helping students manage their schedules and time. I teach you how to stay on track and not fall behind. I attended Georgetown University where I studied psychology, followed by receiving my law degree from Howard University in 2005.
As a trained attorney I have a natural ability to explain things to students in a clear and concise manner. I use a positive reinforcement strategy with my students. I am very good at helping students break down issues and manage their time with their subjects. I understand all students do not learn the same way so we will spend time learning your style and focusing on your strengths so we can determine how you learn best! I had a tutor when I was in middle school and I have tutored students in primary school, high school, college and post graduate studies (including the Bar Exam). Many people like my style of learning because I spend time formulating a specific tutoring schedule that really allows you, the student, to use your own natural ability to succeed and discover new ways of learning. Many times we are already equipped with the proper tools we just need to discover a new way to think about subjects. Education is very important to me and I want to help you succeed!
