I have been using Sign Language since I was seven years old. As I was growing up I had several Deaf and Hard of Hearing friends who I spent a lot of time with. When I graduated High School I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to work with people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. So, I decided to go to Towson University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Deaf Studies in 2009. After graduating from Towson University, I attended Union County College. I received a Certification of Completion in Sign Language Interpreting in 2011. Since I graduated I have had two jobs working with people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I work part time with people who are Deaf Blind, assisting them in daily living activities. I also am a Job Coach. I work with people who have disabilities (including Deaf and Hard of Hearing) helping them to find jobs and maintain them.
I absolutely love Sign Language and would love to teach others how to use it!
