I have been tutoring students since I was in high school and can say that through teaching, I can live my passion. I love working with others, whether they are my own age, older, or younger. I love inspiring learning and I love the results. Whether it is teaching biology, writing, or dance, there is no feeling more fulfilling than when I see my students "get it."
As a Writing Fellow at Barnard, I've used creative methods to facilitate learning, and I incorporate these creative methods along with active engagement and patience when teaching math and science. Before any lesson, I make sure that I'm confident about the material I will be teaching so that the student has a strong understanding and learning experience.
I'm a senior at Barnard College-Columbia University, majoring in dance, and am also pre-med.
