I was trained in COBOL at the Chubb Institute, which I graduate from in 1985. I then worked in the IT field writing COBOL code for 11 years. In addition, I taught COBOL for several years at the Chubb Institute.

Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is a software package that makes creating Web sites easy and stress-free. It is based on HTML, which is the language of the Internet, but prior knowledge of HTML is not absolutely necessary. However, understanding the HTML tags does make using Dreamweaver that much easier. Adobe Dreamweaver is the industry standard and therefore is a must-know for anyone who wants to readily design and develop Web sites with ease and professionalism.

I have been using Dreamweaver to develop Web sites for organizations for over 10 years.

I taught a GED class to adult students for several years and am eager to work with any student who needs assistance.

Microsoft PowerPoint is a favorite software package. I have been using it for a number of years for creating presentations to accompany my classroom lectures. And I have taught it for several years as well.

Microsoft Publisher

I have taught Microsoft Publisher. I also use it on a monthly basis to create a newsletter for an organization I belong to. In addition, I use it to create brochures for the programs I offer at Bergen Community College.
