Hi all! My name is Rebecca Levy, I usually go by Becky though! I am a recent graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. In May 2010, I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Education. After having the summer off and working as a nanny, I went back to school to complete a one-year Masters in the Art of Teaching program, which I just completed (with a 4.0, as well!). To become a certified teacher in any state, a candidate must complete a 4-month student teaching practicum, where they assist a lead professional teacher.

Thankfully, I was in a classroom with an amazing 5th grade teacher in downtown Boston. Through my experience, I became an expert with the curriculum and learned fun and interesting strategies to teach content lessons. Although I had the most in-depth experience in the 5th grade classroom, Northeastern allowed me the opportunity to observe various elementary teachers across the city. I was exposed to younger and older elementary classrooms and teachers that instructed using different strategies. I am confident that I would be a valuable tutor for your child and have references to show for it. Please feel free to contact me.
