TESOL - Holding a certificate from the New School, I have taught classes both in New York City and abroad, as well as tutored individual students at the International Center in NYC. I can quickly assess a student's needs and design a program that is tailor made or can follow a predetermined plan, as the situation requires. Pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing and speaking, and vocabulary--I can cover them all. A student in Poland recently called me "an amazing teacher who thinks outside the box." I love teaching and my students' learning is my primary goal.

French - As a French major in College who studied in both French Canada and southern France, I confess that the French language has been my lifelong passion. I worked for years as a translator for the French Government (am certified by the American Translator's Association) and also worked for international and French companies in positions that required me to use my fluent French. I bring to French tutoring the same caring and conscientiousness that I do to ESOL.
