I am currently working as a private nanny and attending Temple University studying middle grades education. I have two concentrations: English
Through my studies at Temple, I have had the opportunity to teach several mini units in both science
and math and several inclassroom practicum experiences. I have also taken various methods courses on math, science, literacy, and social studies
teaching methods as well as content courses. This year, I will be beginning my senior year as well as my student teaching.
As a private nanny, I work with an 8-year-old child. Throughout my three years (now starting my fourth!), I have been working with him on homework, studying, and projects. He has begun to really excel
in all areas of learning!
I have previously worked as a mentor to a high school student. While working in this position, I assisted the student with all of her school work from Spanish
to Math to English. I also have experience in working with students studying to obtain their GED
. I have taken GED certification courses. I have experience in tutoring several students of several different age groups!
24 hours notice required
$30 an hour is my default price. The rate increases if I am needed to produce materials and lesson plans as this requires planning time outside of the hour of tutoring.
