ARTIST
I have been an artist all my life. Starting with charcoal classes from elementary school and continued through middle school, high school, voted class artist my senior year then attending art school. I work freelance and continue to self-educate myself. I have returned to college to obtain my teaching degree in the visual arts. I have been a counselor and mentor as well as a private art tutor for many years now. My work is diverse, and I can handle most mediums with ease. I really enjoy sharing what I know and helping others discover their own creative potential.
PHOTOGRAPHER
My photography has been published in several books, and I cover many live events in NJ/NY, including the past 7 years for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon with Tony Orlando. My passion for photography began in the early 1980s, and around 1999 I switched over to digital. I currently use a PENTAX K10DSLR along with my Macintosh, Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4 for post-processing. I print to a wide format Canon PIXMA PRO900.
ASTRONOMER
Since age eight I have looked to the stars. Currently I own 5 telescopes; with them I provide educational outreach at Star Parties and as a merit badge counselor for the Boy Scouts. In 2000 I became a Qualified Observer at my astronomy club which allows me open access to the the largest scopes on the east coast. My love of astronomy is coupled with my fascination and imagination in art and photography. Keep looking up!
MACINTOSH
Since 1979 I have been using Apple products. I recently worked for Apple and have been formally trained by them. I own four Mac's, iPAD, iPHONE, iPOD and NANO. All my astronomy, art and photography are done on my MAC. I can help you with general use, software, switching over, setting up WIFI, printers, scanners, transferring photos, editing movies, making DVD's - etc etc etc. Think Different !
