Greetings! I am Cindy B., and I am very familiar with local Camden and Burlington County NJ school districts. I am well versed in many language arts curricula including Storytime, Journeys, Writers Workshop, Writing with Spice, Elements of Literature, Accelerated Reader, 100 Book Challenge, Read 180 and Springboard Literacy Series.

Right now I certified in many WyzAnt subjects and am looking to do more!

I am a certified NJ English teacher. I have taught grammar for elementary, middle school and high school classes.

Writing

I have a Bachelor's degree in Writing Arts. This Bachelor's degree enabled me to obtain my Middle School and High School Language Arts teaching certifications. This degree also gave me experience in all types of business writing including letters, proposals, feasibility studies, white papers and all types of electronic media.

English

I am a certified New Jersey Language Arts teacher. This certification includes coursework in English, Reading and Writing.

I am a certified NJ Language Arts teacher.

I am a certified Language Arts teacher.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am a certified New Jersey K-5 teacher in all subjects. I am also a certified New Jersey teacher in Language Arts/Literacy (Grades 5-8) and Social Studies (Grades 5-8). These certifications are Standard Instructional certificates issued by the State of New Jersey.

Phonics

I am a NJ certified Language Arts teacher. This training enabled me to gain certification in reading, writing, and language.

As part of my teaching coursework at Rowan University, I learned about phonics and linguistics role in literacy. ESL/ESOL

In my current teaching position, I have many students whose first language is not English. I have adapted the curriculum and my teaching style to help these students succeed. Through the use of small group instruction, manipulatives and various teaching materials I am able to assist students in reading, writing and comprehending English.

I also have access to a computer program which has study guides and computer aided tests for ESL learners.

Aspergers

In terms of students with Aspergers, I have worked as a 1:1 paraprofessional with students who have Aspergers.
