Joseph really know his economics. He explained things to me no one else understood and each lesson was clear and easy to understand when he was done. I've had other tutors who say they know economics, but ended up confusing me more when they were done.

Joseph is a great tutor that knows what he is doing. Currently he is helping me with SAT prep and is very helpful. He gives me easy ways to tackle the hard problems in the math section. Also he gives a easy approach to the reading and writing section. He is very patient with me and explains things well when I get it wrong and he doesn't mind explaining it twice. I've been working with him since Septemeber and he has yet to cancel out on a session and he is always on time. Another good thing about him is very productice in the time we are together. We meet for 2 hours on saturdays and we get a lot done. He is also easy to reach by phone.

No matter what subject in Math it is ... trigonometry, calculus, algebra II ... Mr. H. has a way of breaking it down and making it possible to understand. He came to the rescue during my son's junior year with Trig and again his senior year with Algebra II/Trig/Calculas all rolled into one. We would have never survived the semester without him!

I want to take this time to thank Joseph for his patience with me. Joseph tutored me for 10 months to help me pass praxis I. The praxis was holding me back from getting my certification even though I have been teaching for five years under an emergency one. I have ADD and a learning disability mainly in math and reading comprehension. Therefore I knew that taking these tests would be a challenge. I have not taken a test since high school and in college I only wrote papers. Joseph had his work cut out and I am glad he was up for the challenge. Joseph went back to basic math and patched up the holes that were missing in my education. He not only taught me the steps of solving a problem but the formula of how to take tests. I highly recommend Joseph for yourself or for your child. Joseph never made me feel less than him and in fact he gave me confidence in myself. His abundance of knowledge and overwhelming patience gave me self-confidence to conquer my fears of test taking. For someone who has not taken a test in 16 years and had many challenges I passed all my test within the ten months Joseph tutored me and I would not have done it without his help. Thank You Joseph

Joseph did a nice trying job trying to use my son's strengths to help him with math. His math score went up 60 points the second time he took the SATs. We were pleased with the sessions and found them to be both helpful and productive.

Joe is a GEM! He knows the material extremely well (Geometry) and knows how to communicate/teach the concepts to a student that is struggling. He is patient while at the same time can push the student to achieve their personal best. He completely turned my daughter's geometry performance around. She went from C's to A+'s to even several weeks ahead of her class. (He had her so caught up on the geometry material that he began going over SAT type math questions....BONUS!) This was money and time well spent. He was easy to reach by phone, email or text and was responsive whenever we had a question. He was also flexible with the schedule when necessary. I will definitely keep Joe's number on hand, should we need his expertise in the future! You can't go wrong with hiring Joe as your child's tutor.

Mr. Howard is a very intelligent man with many skills. He has gone over pre-calculus honors with my daughter along with chemistry honors and biology honors. Joseph Howard has been tutoring my son who is a Sophomore in high school in AP Microeconomics. My son did not have any background in Economics and this was his first exposure to the subject of Economics. Mr. Howard was able to inculcate the liking for the subject in him.
