My name is Dan and I am in my seventh year of teaching. I am currently tutoring students in preparation for the SAT. I have taught at both the high school and middle school levels. I have taught in Math, English (Language Arts), Social Studies, and Science. The last few years I have spent the bulk of my teaching time in the Language Arts and Math classroom. I am a Special Education teacher who has been co-teaching, working with both students with special needs and those without. It is my philosophy that all students can learn.
I have a knack for standardized tests, and so enjoy working with students who are preparing for the SAT. When preparing for the SAT, I ensure that my students take a diagnostic test that will help me to focus instruction on the areas where your child needs the most assistance. Once we have pinpointed the needs of your child, we will setup a schedule for tutoring and instruction that will help to 'gameplan' our approach to ensuring that your child scores their optimum score on the SAT.
