I am energetic, creative, flexible, adaptable, organized, detail oriented and love working with people of all ages. I studied fine arts and photography at the College of New Jersey.

I have 3 years of experience working with the special needs community (Autism, Asperger's, hard of hearing, blind, wheelchair bound) teaching English, Spanish, math, drawing, painting, photography, social and daily skills to gain independence. I still work with this community on a regular basis. I have also taught ESL to grades Pre-K through 12th grade in Chile, South America.

If interested in sports, I swam competitively for 5 years and have instructed swimming skills (all strokes, floating/treading water, driving, turns) to elementary students - adulthood.

I was a lifeguard for several years.

I did a photo internship at NYC's FIT, worked for a photography company based in NYC and traveled around the US and have photographed events. I also enjoy going for walks and taking photos of nature and people. I started a photography program at an alternate learning center for developmentally disabled adults and have taught one-on-one sessions.

Painting

I have a BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) from the College of New Jersey. I work with adults with developmental disabilities on their painting skills and show them new techniques as we work on art projects.

ADD/ADHD

I currently work at an alternate learning center for adults with developmental disabilities. I work on subjects such as reading, writing, math, cooking, movement, art, and social and daily living skills.
I have a sister with ADHD, a brother with ADD and have tutored several elementary students with either.

Aspergers

I currently work at an alternate learning center for adults with developmental disabilities including Aspergers. I work on subjects such as reading, writing, math, cooking, movement, art, and social and daily living skills. I have CPR/1st aid, ODD, PAN, Medication certifications.

Autism

I currently work at an alternate learning center for adults with developmental disabilities including Autism. I work on subjects such as reading, writing, math, cooking, movement, art, and social and daily living skills. I have CPR/1st aid, ODD, PAN, Medication certifications.

Hard Of Hearing

I currently work at an alternate learning center for adults with developmental disabilities including those hard of hearing. I work on subjects such as writing, math, cooking, movement, art, and social and daily living skills.
I know all my ABCs in ASL along with several words. I'm currently learning ASL and am very excited about it.
