My name is Ksenia (Kessy for short!) and I am here to help you with math! I have experience tutoring kids (also with special needs), math 3-12k and I am fluent in Russian. I am a patient person who loves working with kids of all ages and helping with my favorite subject math, which i am proficient in and have earned a B.A. in mathematics from Montclair State University.
I myself have 3 kids, 2 boys (twins-2 years) and a girl 1. Also I have been a Supervisor at the Valerie Funds Camp Happy Times volunteering in oncology camp for children with or who have had cancer. I am passionate about working with numbers and helping those to understand the subject in need. I am efficient, friendly, kind, respectful, diligent and a good listener. I try to make difference in the time frame that is given and give a better understanding of what the student lacks in. I like to bring fun into studying, because it is efficient and helps to better remember the information. The student comes first and you are my priority.
My priority to get those grades up and make you or your child a top graduate. There is no shyness with me and i am comfortable to work with. I would expect from my student to be prepared coming to my lessons (questions, books, etc) and i will help you to be prepared and be more comfortable for your class, test, exam, homework. I thrive on students participation and i encourage them to ask questions, do critical thinking, and be confident.
