Hello future tutoring student, I am a 25 year old chemistry teacher at Manville High School. I teach AP and regular level chemistry. I am from Nutley, NJ but am now living in Bedminster, NJ. My philosophy of teaching is learning by doing. I am able to tutor in most Math and all Science subjects. My favorite method to teach is one on one and figuring out how a student processes information allow them to learn the subject material their way. I have tutored a total of 20 different students in high school and college all of them have improved their test scores.
As a teacher of 2 years, I have learned a lot on different teaching methods. Science and math are a hard concept to grasp but I will make learning them fun and easy. I have always loved science and math and it just comes second nature to me. I receive a 195/200 and a 185/200 on my Praxis scores of chemistry and general science. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching Physical Science and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the College of New Jersey. Please consider me when you choose your future tutor.
