No matter what age or in what year of school someone may be, one can always count on having to take some sort of English
class in which the teacher/professor expects a certain level of essay writing
/punctuation usage, and literature
analysis. Although I major in Business
Management, I have a minor in English and consider literature to be my biggest passion. I was editor
-in-chief of my grammar school and high school newsletters, took several courses in Creative Writing, won an essay competition my sophomore year of high school, excelled in my AP Literature
course, and currently help many college students in their essay writing at Rutgers University.
I will assist with anything involving literature from simply going over an essay and editing
the work with the student to analyzing an entire piece of literature with the student.
Although my skills predominantly lie in English literature and writing, I major in Business Management and, therefore, can tutor in a wide range of business courses ranging from economics
, to management electives.
I also have a great interest in the arts, especially photography
. I also took a two-year concentration course of Graphic Design in high school. I have a very good handle on how to use the latest Adobe Photoshop
Software and can tutor a student in the basics of photo editing, manipulation, and the production of graphics.
Please do not feel shy to contact me about any questions you may have about my skills, knowledge of certain areas, to see my resume, or anything else you may want to know. I understand the importance of not only getting good grades but also having a clear understanding of a subject to ensure that a student excels to his or her potential not just to get past this one class but for all future classes relating to this subject. As a current college student, I can offer to not only be a tutor but a mentor as well.
