I have been teaching Spanish to foreign students from more than 20 years.
I graduated with a bachelors degree in letters and history from the University of Malaga (Spain). Teaching Spanish has always been my main focus. My teaching style is based on immersion and I will never speak English. From the first to the last minute the student will have to speak Spanish and use all his/her skills to communicate. At the same time, we will study grammar and vocabulary since they are both important aspects of the ability to speak a foreign language. I believe learning a language is a journey where the student discovers not only a new language but a different culture and history. A lot of my material will make you discover these two aspects.
Having spent almost ten years in Belgium, and my husband being French speaking, I speak French perfectly. Additionally, I have been teaching French during two years in the University of Esmeraldas (Ecuador).
For both languages, I will require students to follow with some daily exercises. I will, as well, make a first evaluation of the student's level in order to prepare the most adapted materials.
Learning a new language should not be a painful exercise but a travel.
