My name is Brian, and I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of the Arts from The College of New Jersey with a double major in English and Secondary Education. I have taught high school in both suburban and urban school districts, and I've taught a wide range of subjects within the scope of language arts, from creative writing, to college preparatory classes, to exciting electives such as Science Fiction & Fantasy and Journalism, to a variety of literature courses such as British Literature, to basic speaking and writing skills, and everything in between! I've taught and tutored one-on-one, in group environments, and in the traditional classroom as well as alternative programs.

I have an extraordinarily diverse background in theater and the arts, and I love the written and spoken word as a vehicle for self-expression and for communicating effectively. I also have over a decade of experience in personal development and leadership programs, so I can help motivate you or your student, as well as help you be a more effective speaker and presenter. I created and run a writers group that meets in central New Jersey at least once a month, and I regularly edit, proofread, review and give feedback to both aspiring and accomplished writers. I also love and am very familiar with technology!
