I have been tutoring students in math, physics, chemistry, biology and physical science for the last 3 years. I have also coordinated and taught SAT Math classes. I have experience working with students ranging from 4th-12th grades, including students diagnosed with ADHD.
Simply put, my style of teaching is personalized so that I can help each individual student reach his/her personal goals in the coursework. As a teacher, I can be demanding at times, but I also try to help the student enjoy the subject matter and try to share my passion for learning math and science with them.
As a student, I enjoyed and excelled in Math and Science and competed regularly in Math and Science competitions. I have a BS degree in Biology from MIT and have worked for 5 years in the investment banking industry. With my experiences as a student, teacher and having worked in corporate America, I am always willing to share my experiences and advice in the college admissions process as well as career choices.
