I have been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school, in 1990. I have multiple degrees; BA in Political Science, BS in Philosophy, Registered Nurse BSN, MS in human services specializing in addiction studies and I am currently studying to become a Nurse Practitioner. I have always maintained an A average in all my classes. I maintained my 4.0 while I was heavily involved in multiple student activities and raising my family.

Microsoft Word

I have been using Microsoft Word since 1994 and I am very versatile in this area.

Anatomy

I have been a nurse since 2003 and I aced A+P I and II. I have some good techniques in order to memorize a lot of information.

SAT Math

I have been tutoring clients with SAT Prep since 1998. I have tutored over 30 clients, all which have achieved their personal goal score. They all went on to the college of their choice.

GED

I have tutored numerous people in GED, all of whom attained their GED the first time.

SAT Reading

I have been tutoring PSAT and SAT Prep since 1995 with success. I have seen all my clients improve by at least 150 points in each section. I have aided over 20 students which have all had different needs but all have improved in each category tremendously.

Nursing

I am a RN BSN. I have been a nurse since 2003. I passed all my classes the first time with an A- or better. I have taken classes in the class room and also online. The NCEX was a success for me the first time after being taught how to really understand how to attack a question. I would love to pass on my knowledge to you.

I played Soccer Division 1 soccer in college at Boston University. I was the starting striker. I also ran summer camps for grades 4-12 while in college.

Basketball

Played basketball since 5th grade and played 4 years varsity, 2 years captain. I was a starting shooting guard. I also coached in numerous summer camps.

Softball

I have played softball since 5th grade, and played varsity for 4 years in high school. I was a pitcher and 3rd baseman.

Bible Studies

I am an RCIA team member for the Catholic Church. That is the adult confirmation, holy communion and baptismal class team instructor.

NCLEX

I am an RN with a BSN who is studying to be a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I took my boards in 2003 and aced them the first time. I have been aiding fellow nursing students in test taking and the NCLEX ever since. I have helped 10 people study for the NCLEX and all passed the first time taking it after being tutored by me.

Public Speaking

I am a former Miss Teen NH and Miss NH. I won speech (public speaking) at nationals both times.

Career Development

Utilizing an individual's strengths and going from there usually sets the platform for where to begin.

I have worked with student loans, applied for scholarships, been heavily involved with student services and student activities. I have been in college for multiple degrees and I am currently in graduate school.
Decision making and looking at all the pros and cons is an area of success for me. I am very good at organization, time management and predicting what would be a good fit for perspective students.

ADD/ADHD

Microsoft Outlook

I passed Exam 77-884: Outlook 2010.

Learning from Microsoft tutorials I designed a lesson plan that our company uses for all new employees. Microsoft approved and with an astounding success rate, orientation candidates are confident in Outlook prior to independent use.
I have been using and educating individuals about Outlook since 2006. It is the main calendar, email and schedule tool in our office. I am very well versed in this area and would be an a educated tutor in this field...

Pharmacology

Pharmacology is huge in nursing and nursing school. I passed all pharmacology classes with an A. I am very versatile in making and assisting one in making medication cards. I have used various study and memorization techniques when tutoring others. I have been assisting/tutoring others with pharmacology since 2003.

Sociology

I minored in a sociology program that focused on the systematic study of human social institutions and social relationships. It included instruction in social theory, sociological research methods, social organization and structure, social stratification and hierarchies, dynamics of social change, family structures, social deviance and control, and applications to the study of specific social groups, social institutions, and social problems.

Criminal Justice

In college I minored in criminal justice.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude. In college I tutored other students in criminal justice. I started doing this in 1994 and had over 20 students I worked with.
