I taught for 36 years in the Lawrence School System. I retired in January of 2007.
For 16 years, I taught in 3 different middle schools. I taught English, Spanish, Social Studies and History to 7th and 8th grade students. For 20 years I taught at Lawrence
High School. During my time there, I taught the following subjects:World History, American History, Geography and American Government.
From 1995 to 2010, I also worked for Salem State College in a tutoring program called Upward Bound. In this program, I tutored Lawrence High School students in the following subjects: Spanish, English, Social Studies and History. For the past 4 years
I have been working at Saint Michael's School in North Andover. I teach Spanish to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
I believe that my experience and subject knowledge will enable to be a very effective tutor. I have the ability,knowledge and experience that is needed to be successful in the tutoring field. I have also had an excellent rapport with all different kinds of students and utilize a wide variety of teaching techniques.
In closing I firmly believe that I will be able to help students in their pursuit of knowledge.
