For the past few years, I have been working with a student with Asperger's. When I met him, he was failing everything except science - his favorite. We worked together weekly to improve his study skills, time management skills, and give him the extra boost he needed. Now he is doing well in school and enjoying more subject areas than only science.
Since I was homeschooled, I was always home when my mom was making lunch. Early on, I wanted to know how to make what she was making. While I am no culinary genius, I know what it takes to make delicious, wholesome meals for a family. I'd love to help you if this is an area of uncertainty for you.
Literature is one of my passions. There are few things I love more in this world than sitting around the living room with some friends, discussing the ideas and thoughts found in a piece of good writing. I love to debate the author's intent and support my answers with obscure quotes from the text. I find great joy in identifying related themes in unrelated works.
I was happy to graduate college with a minor in Literature.

What will your experience be? I can help prealgebra be less terrifying to you or your student.
I have been tutoring prealgebra for a long time. I've had many success stories, starting with the friends I helped while we were in the class!
Are you looking for one of those people who corrects the grammar of others on Facebook? I don't, because it seems impolite. I do find typos everywhere I go, on billboards, in news articles, books, etc. I can help you turn your piece of writing into something polished and pristine.
