How did a Louisiana native end up in New England? I am new to the New England area, but my husband was born in Maine. We have recently moved to be near his family in New Hampshire.

Call me Doc Becky: 'the healer of academic ailments in math and science.
My students and colleagues began to call me Doc Becky after I finished my Ph.D. in engineering sciences at Louisiana State University. I returned to obtain my Bachelor's degree in biological engineering, and stayed to finish my doctorate. Before returning to LSU, I had substituted at the middle school level, and tutored math and science at the high school level. I have added tutoring and teaching at the college level over the last few years. And, because I really enjoyed tutoring and teaching, I took a minor in educational methods.
My tutoring philosophy encompasses the use of multiple teaching methods to help a student identify and correct academic deficiencies.
