I am a certified Spanish teacher. I graduated summa cum laude at UNH with a major in Spanish. I have been teaching in a high school since 2006 and also in a community college - NECC.
I was born in Argentina, and I grew up in Venezuela.
My methodology is dynamic and based on the differentiated classroom. I believe we as educators, should replace the old model of teacher-centered classroom for a democratic and differentiated classroom where teacher and students plan multiple types of activities depending of the learner’s abilities to acquire a second language. Lesson plans should include visual, motion, logical, listening, and musical and more types of activities for a variety of learning styles.
I use a variety of textbooks with my students: Avancemos, Buen Viaje, Ven Conmigo. I also use fun activities, reading stories and games and videos to make my tutoring more fun.
