My name is Bryan C. I've been a professional teacher since 2009 and mathematics is my specialty. In 2012, I obtained my Master's Degree from Plymouth State University. I've taught in a variety of contexts: one-on-one instruction, large, and medium sized classrooms, and learners of all age levels. I enjoy teaching and have a proven track-record of helping students succeed at math. Please see my student feedback section for information on how my students value my teaching.
I began my teaching career during an 18 month tenure in South Korea. Since that time, I've taught at Plymouth State University, Southside Middle School (Manchester), and Manchester Community College. I also obtained TESOL/TESL Certification from Oxford Seminars before I went to South Korea.
As a teacher, I concentrate on developing a complete and well-rounded knowledge of subjects through student involvement. I think that it is important to connect topics to real-life, so that the material is relevant to students' lives, especially in math. I encourage student curiosity. It is important for a teacher to be both knowledgeable about a subject and understanding of a student's needs.
I enjoy working with learners of all age levels and abilities.
