Sarah W. started working with my 15 year old son a few months before the school year ended. I wish I hired her sooner. She is very thorough and patient and is helping my son who has several learning challenges develop his own goals and take ownership of his education. She is firm when he tries to avoid work, yet soft-spoken and he seems to really respond to her.
I would definitely recommend Sarah W. to others.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
