Spanish has been my passion since I began to study it in 1977. After high school I continued my studies in Spanish at the University of Madrid, Spain, then received a BS in Spanish from the University of Lowell. Immediately following graduation I studied in Mexico at the Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies. I have taught Spanish at the University of Lowell (Community Education), Lahey Clinic and other private institutions. I am a member of the American Translators Association and am currently employed as a Spanish interpreter. My tutoring style is to work on the specific needs of the student, which in most cases is grammar.
