Art History
I have a BFA from Massachusetts College of art with a certification in art education and, therefore, a working knowledge of art history. I have often incorporated art history into my art lesson plans and also relate the art movement to what was happening at that time, in the world. I will also discuss how artists were influenced by previous movements or by art native to indigenous cultures.
Aspergers
I was a case manager for 7 years at a day program for adults with disabilities which varied from head injuries, mental retardation, down syndrome, mental health, Aspergers, autism and a combination of any of the above. I have 2 children with ADD/ADHD and work closely with the school and the kids to find alternative ways of learning for them to be successful.
Autism

I also worked one on one with an autistic adult, in his home, on poetry writing and art projects. I worked in a residential home, Fine House, which was part of the League School of Greater Boston, The League School of Greater Boston. The League School is a leading private day and residential school for students ages 3 to 22 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and Aspergers syndrome.
