Hello, I'm Sherrie and I'm a new but excited tutor. I went to college for two years for English and hope to one day be a published author. I would love to make a difference in the lives of younger students, help them succeed in school and hopefully help enforce a love of reading. I am a solitary learner for the most part, I was homeschooled from seventh through twelfth grade, so I understand how sitting through a class is not always the most effective way to learn something. I'm always reading and expanding my mind with new knowledge, in my spare time I try to continue things I started learning in high school, such as Latin.
I enjoy proofreading papers and stories for grammar and spelling, that was always my strongest subject in school. I even enjoyed helping a friend with her algebra homework, even though math isn't my strongest. I look forward to helping you or your child succeed and even learn new things right along with them.
