My strengths are innovation and improvisation. My focus in the classroom is not only where the light goes on with students but where the light goes off as well. The 2 points are not necessarily the same. It is my great desire to continue to work with many diverse students of race, color, and age to patiently explore their cognitive reasoning to build their confidence in their abilities to allow them to understand that it is OK to struggle and success does not always come easy. Differentiated instruction through cooperative learning is the key to learning. This is my focus and strength.
I am a very detailed orientated individual who exhibits a strong desire to raise the bar and help others up. I have a strong analytical, educational, and mathematical background. I have multiple career interests between technology, office administration, and education. I enjoy working with adults and children and focus on creativity, structure, and detail as past supervisors have described me as a " Cross your "T's" and dot your " I's " individual. An interesting combination of following convention and improvise as needed.
I like administrative duties as well as interacting 1-on-1 with all people of all ages. I have a diversified academic and professional background which included international study abroad which expanded my insight even further into diversified cultures and learning communities. The ability to continue to want to get students to understand at an earlier age that tolerance, restraint, knowledge, and work ethic are critical to academic and professional success as well as excellent building blocks for life.
