"Wonderful Language Tutor!"

Amandah P. is an excellent tutor. This past summer, she helped me brush up on my Japanese language skills so that I would be ready come fall for my second year of Japanese class at college. She is patient and flexible, easy to work with, and most importantly she knows her stuff.
One of the big problems I have with Japanese (and that I know is common for many learning another language) is my level of confidence. Amandah is a great person to work with on this. She gives great encouragement and works with you to boost not only your skill but your confidence in your skill.
Amandah is also very aware of what you need. For instance, I needed to be ready for Japanese 201, so not only did she help me with my conversation skills, but she also made sure I knew most if not all of the commands that teachers will usually give you in a classroom setting ("Please write..." "Please read..." etc.).
Her tutoring style is very organized, but with lots of room for flexibility, so don't ever be worried if you think a lesson is not working for you - she will work with you to find the most effective way for you to learn.

I also highly recommend her for "Finals" - our last tutoring meeting was walking around the local foreign market (which included Japanese food items) and speaking in nothing but Japanese for an hour.

This fall I walked into my Japanese class and was completely on top of my game, largely because of Amandah. If you need a Japanese tutor, she's the one you want!

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
