Hi. I'm Eric. I have just begun tutoring through WyzAnt. My experience with teaching comes from being a swim coach and swim lessons instructor and through being a substitute teacher for several years. I am not sure what subjects I want to tutor yet - but math seems to be one of the subjects in high demand and I think I could be helpful in that area.

I have tutored several people in math in the past. I think I am good at explaining math concepts, and I try to explain ideas in several different ways when I can to reinforce understanding. I have a lot of patience with students, and I am very easy-going. I like students to feel relaxed when I am working with them, so I do what I can to make them feel that way.

As substitute teacher I worked with high school, middle school and elementary school students, so I am comfortable working with a wide range of ages in students.

I attended college at UNC-Chapel Hill and I have a degree in Business Administration from that school.

I've worked with students at all of the elementary grade levels as a substitute teacher. I was a substitute for five years, so I feel like I have a lot of experience in a lot of different subject areas. I'm especially strong in math, but I like tutoring other subjects also.

I have several years of experience teaching swimming lessons. I was also a competitive swimmer for twelve years. I am a certified lifeguard and water safety instructor as well.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
