I graduated from Brevard College in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. I play piano, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, ukulele, and I sing. As a musician, I have gained experience teaching children and adults new skills. Music has also taught me how to work with a group of people and lead a group of people, which will be highly beneficial in a classroom setting. As a graduate of a small liberal arts college, I am well-rounded and have some knowledge in a variety of subjects. I know that sometimes all that is needed to understand a subject is a different perspective. I have also completed the 150-hour TEFL professional certification course and I learned a great deal about the complexities of teaching English as a second language.
