I have been teaching for six years. I tutored before I moved to Sanford. I can help in any elementary level subject. I have participated in after-school tutoring sessions. These sessions have been to prepare students for the math portion of the EOG. Math is my strongest tutoring subject.

I try to make the sessions fun. We learn through playing games and hands-on activities. I keep the parents informed of their student's progress and I try to point out areas where the parents can also help. In the past, I have given a pre-test and a post-test to see the student's progress. I find that the students I have worked with make huge advancements. I have had the chance to talk to some of the students I have tutored, in the past, and they all are very thankful of what I was able to help them do.

I find math to be one of my stronger points. I am able to teach all levels of math for grades K-6.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am a certified teacher for grades k-6. I can teach all subjects, but prefer math. I have been teaching in a second grade classroom for four years. I did a lot of substitute teaching before I got my current teaching job. I am very familiar with the second grade curriculum. I am also aware of the curriculum for the other grades I am certified in. I obtained my teaching certificate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and have a current North Carolina license.
