My background is in Biomedical Engineering, yet I also spent a couple of years as a Science Teacher & Language Tutor at Landmark School in Beverly, MA (2010-2012). There, I taught Chemistry and Physics to small classes of students with language-based learning disabilities. The tasks for teaching included developing lessons appropriate for the the students' reading, writing, and study skill level; implementing pertinent remedial structures and setting; designing and using appropriate assessment methods; and daily managing of the classroom or laboratory activities. I also tutored students in a one-on-one setting in the same areas of reading, writing, and study skills, according to a predetermined skill-level diagnostic.

In addition to Science and study and language skills, I also enjoy Mathematics, and I enjoy teaching and tutoring in general.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in a very busy season in life at this time (Fall, 2014) and have limited time to devote to regular tutoring. You can contact me if you think you may not need very regular and frequent tutoring and maybe we can work something out.
