Science and math can be difficult subjects to master in a classroom setting. Students can have very different learning styles, and teachers can struggle to reach all the students in their classes. Tutoring is a way to help bridge the gap, but hiring a tutor can often be a crap shoot. How can you be sure you've got a quality tutor?
I understand all this, and I want to help! My name is Tony, and I'm a recent graduate of North Carolina State University. I have a BS in Physics with an overall GPA of 3.803. Science and math are subjects that I enjoy learning and really enjoy helping others understand. I have a lot of experience with tutoring, especially at the collegiate level, and I know that students often just need to look at things from a different angle to get that "Aha!" moment. I think that it's important to be very thorough in tutoring, which ensures that the student masters the concept for success in her/his classes.
