I want to help your child succeed in school. I am an experienced elementary teacher, having spent the last 23 years in public schools teaching preschool, kindergarten, and 1st through 3rd grades. I also have experience with tutoring a third grade student with autism, as well as tutoring 4th and 5th grade students in math. After teaching in the elementary classroom for many years, I decided to take a new direction and began teaching at the university level this fall. I hold a current NC Master's level teaching license. I enjoy sharing my experiences with my "big" learners, but I find that I miss working with the younger learners.

I have taught several college level courses to preservice teachers on the subject of children with special needs, which includes ADD/ADHD.
