I am a PhD student at Duke University for electrical engineering. Before this I earned my bachelor's in electrical engineering and minored in math, cum laude, and master's in electrical engineering, 4.0/4.0 GPA in 4 years at Cooper Union in New York.
I have a thorough knowledge of math and mathematical principles as applied to real world problems. I have also completed many projects in different computer languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, PHP (and other internet languages such as HTML, JQuery, SQL).
Throughout the years I have tutored very many students to help them understand how to think mathematically. I personally love math and believe that by inspiring a similar appreciation for the field, students will end up doing much better. This is done by working through many examples and by seeing how those concepts are used in real life (for which I draw on personal experience or work I am aware of).
