ACT Math

I have tutored the ACT for 5 or 6 years now since it is so much like the SAT - it just has more math, including combinations and permutations. I would even show the students when they had a hard problem to solve to start with answer C and if it is wrong since the format of these tests usually goes from smallest number to largest they would know which way to go either smaller or greater thus eliminating C and say A and B if the answer by ball-parking was larger than C.

Algebra 1

I have tutored algebra 1 now for over 18 years and currently tutor the GED and have had many graduates. In the past I tutored math up to calculus, chemistry as well as physics at Saint Philips College in San Antonio, on my own, and with WyzAnt with a 98.8% record with 78 students.

Algebra 2

I have extensively, for over 15 years, helped students in algebra II, Logs, and trigonometry. I tutored them on WyzAnt and at St. Phillips College in San Antonio with excellent results. I also am a professional educator and have many tricks to make the math easy and fun to understand.

ASVAB

My name is Jeff.I have tutored the ASVAB in the mathematics section for several years at Saint Philips' college here in San Antonio.I can easily help on the science or math portions of the ASVAB and I can even show you easier ways to do the math as well as how to prove the answer is right. Please feel free to contact me so we can set up an appointment! Finally I am a professor at U.T.S.A. in Chemistry and have taught there since 1991.

Sincerely,Jeff

Bible Studies

I have my masters of divinity from southwestern seminary and while there to the glory of Jesus Christ I had 2 home Bible studies in Fort Worth and Dallas.I also have taught sunday school for many years and taught the Bible in Mexico for 7 years!
My purpose in helping you with Bible study is to point you to Jesus ,never look to me for I am not perfect,so that you can in your own unique beautiful way have a deep abiding loving relationship with him!If you need marriage counseling look at Philipians 2 which talks about oneness.Finances the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30.Here is an application write down all your talents the after prayer go to the internet and look for jobs that go with each talent!Never be anxious Matthew 6:25-34.Simply count all the animals outside they do not have credit cards nor a bank account nor life insurance etc. and I am not saying these things are not important but if your heavenly Father provides for them how much more will He provide for His Children? So do not be afraid!A childlike faith is easy to have!Let me show you. When you go to a new restaurant you sit down and eat the food yet you donot know the cook! When you fly you relax and sit back you do not know the pilot! So if we can entrust ourselves to imperfect men how much more than can we trust our heavenly Father who has infinite Love for us in Jesus Christ our Lord!!!God richly bless you.See Matthew 11:25-30.
God Richly Bless you in Christ's Love!
Jeff B

I have my masters in chemistry and can teach and tutor general, organic, and allied health chemistry. I have also tutored chemistry for almost 18 years now as well plus I am a chemical education expert and can apply the chemistry to the students major, just ask any of my previous customers or students. One of my students is now a professor in biology at Saint Phillips college and another one of my students is a pharmacist at the Walmart I went to in San Antonio.

Geometry

I have tutored geometry for solids as well as parallel lines and transversal lines as well.I even have easier ways of understanding for instance why the area of a circle is pi x r(squared)or the area of a triangle is 1/2xbasexheight.Finally I have tutored geometry for over 16 years now and made it easy for anyone I tutored.

MCAT

I have helped a lot of students prepare for the MCAT and I have studied the MCAT for myself in detail in the areas of Chemistry, Physics, and Math up to Calculus. I have tutored many students in the MCAT and they have successfully gone on to medical school.

Organic Chemistry

I have a masters in chemistry from the University of Florida and have taught both general and organic chemistry for almost 30 years and have extensively tutored organic and general both at Saint Phillips college, with Wyzant and on my own and the students most of the time get A's or B's as well as pass the MCAT for both general and organic chemistry.

I had a student in San Antonio who was math phobic and I worked with him for almost a year on his Precalculus. His grade went up from a "C "to an "A". I have tutored Precalculus for many years, including at Saint Phillips College and with WyzAnt, and on my own with my own customers for going on 20 years now. I even have easier ways to make the difficult math in Precalculus understandable.

SAT Math

I have taught SAT math for one year at Saint Phillips College in San Antonio Texas and have tutored math extensively for more than 20 years even in the preparation of my GRE I got a book called cracking the GRE that helped me to use strategies to find the answers much faster and received an 82.5% on the math. I am also an education expert where as I can show the student practical fun applications to the math they are learning and I am an encourager as well.

Study Skills

I have been an expert at study skills now for going on almost 20 years since I was extensively trained at St. Philips college here in San Antonio.I also have taught Chemistry now since my Junior year in 1980.I presently am a professor at U.T.S.A. in Chemistry and have trained myself to being an Education expert in practical applications to a students' major.I have taught at U.T.S.A. since 1991 and my extra credits in the Chemistry lab for example are murder mysteries where the student solves the crime and applies the chemistry,Physics,Math, and Anatomy and Physiology to the real world and even does a short extra credit paper on how to apply the sciences to their specific majors even if their major is history, drama, religion, music, art, etc.

Trigonometry

I have extensively tutored both trigonometry and algebra for at least 18 years and have easy ways to break down both so as to understand why algebra works the way it does as well as trigonometry.I have easy ways to do algebra solving by my opposite method and to show tricks on trigonometry as well.I also tutor all the way up to calculus so I can help students prepare for calculus as well.
