I graduated with a BA in Spanish in May of 2010 when I was six months pregnant with my second child. She turned three this past weekend and I am just now ready to try to do something part-time with my degree. I have always loved the Spanish language since I was in junior high school. I have a full-time job as a paralegal in Charlotte and love my job. I am not ready to completely change careers so want to start out slow with some tutoring sessions. I have never tutored so this is new to me but I am excited.
I would love to be a teacher but prefer one on one teaching. My strong points in the language are grammar, translating, reading and writing. My conversation skills are a little rusty because I don't know many people that I can sit down and talk Spanish to therefore I haven't had much practice in the past couple of years. I am very patient but also will be able to push when need be. I believe I would be a great teacher for any age - kindergarten through adult.
