I earned a B.S. in Biology, with minor in History. I'm currently seeking various jobs including lab assistant work with goal of entering grad program in biology.

I'm willing to accommodate for special needs and have tutored a student with a learning-disability. My experience is primarily in life sciences in general. I also have experience with chemistry up to Organic II and Physics up to 200-level coursework, such as Electricity/Optics/Kinematics.

- AP courses I have taken: Microecon, Macroecon, English Lit, English Lang, Government, Biology, US History, European History, Latin Verse.

I have taken the SAT multiple times, participated in Princeton Review's SAT class, and am able do ACT and SAT prep work. I have familiarity with multiple citation styles, i.e. Chicago, APA, MLA, AAAS.

I won an award for strong writing style upon graduating from high school, and I've earned commendations of college professors to the same effect.

ACT English

I achieved an ACT composite score of 32 on first taking it, and have corresponded with other tutors who worked on ACT.

American History

Minored in history and did well in topics covering US Civil War, modern foreign policy, among others. I can work with historiographic problems and writing style as well if there are problems as noted by instructor(s).

I have a B.Sc. in biology and long experience in anatomy, physiology, biochem, evo/devo, and to a lesser extent genetics and genomics. If you or your child are frustrated with rote memorization if life sciences, I can and will try to adjust learning styles to that effect.

I've taken several art classes and routinely draw in pencil/ink. I also have won awards in printmaking at the UNT Art Show. I tend to do portraiture.

Elementary (K-6th)

I was a summer school counselor for classes at my former high school, teaching K-4th. I also helped tutor kindergartners in basic intro science labs.

General Computer

I can help with the following: basics of understanding command prompts, most Office software, general ergonomics, general understanding of programming (no strong language proficiencies however) and learning how to take advantage of online resources.

I received 2 Summa cum Laude and one Maxima cum Laude medals for National Latin Exam. I also received high AP scores for both poetry and prose. I'm more comfortable teaching beginners in this topic however because of the time elapsed since these courses.

Microsoft Word

I've helped with paralegal work on the side and have done well in many college-level courses that demanded essay composition. I'm used to working with Word 2010 and 2007. If you need help with WPM improvement I can help as well.

I'm a piano student with 14 non-consecutive years of study. I've studied under three main teachers, two of whom were well-regarded in north Texas. I've performed for nursing homes and have competed at TCU. I will disclose however that my knowledge of theory is modest.

SAT Math

The following applies to SAT/PSAT in general. I scored 1400+ on the SAT composited before 2007, and I qualified as National Merit Scholar through PSAT/NMSQT. I also attended a Princeton Review SAT preparation course in Fort Worth. And I can provide my CollegeBoard scores upon request.

I have written essays on several topics for academic work at the undergraduate level. The subjects were mostly restricted to various historical fields including history of science and art history. I also have experience in proofreading other students' work.

I have basic experience in ecology, evolutionary studies, and animal phylogeny and morphology from coursework. I've also gained experience from having lived on a property with livestock and numerous pets.
